Yeah, I got a big one!

Max went to the Dr. on Monday to get his shots. I was curious to see where he was at comparatively to other babies his age, and the Doc said that he's not on the charts in terms of weight and in the 97% height-wise. I can't tell you enough how great it is to have a baby. He's laughing this week.. just amazing.

Another Postcard With Chimpanzees

A quick break from football to remind everyone that Barenaked Ladies will be releasing their forthcoming album "Everything To Everyone" on the 21st of this month. They will be in Indy on Nov. 2nd with the peepshow tour, however I don't have any tickets!

First off, let me say that I feel SOME sympathy for the bonehead fan in Chicago during game 6 that decided to try and catch the foul ball. Because of him, it may only be another 50+ years until the cubs have a shot at the world series. Here's to you, Mr. Dumbass Baseball fan. This poor schmuck probably has multiple hits out on his life as we speak.

Another quick plug here needs to go out to The Iceman. Go read his Blog.. Its only about 100 times more entertaining than mine. He is funny.

The Rundown

Well, not that its a surprise, but guess who's in the lead once again this weekend. :)

Brad: 11 Right - 7 Wrong
Greg: 10 Right - 8 Wrong
Jason: 10 Right - 8 Wrong

And given that Greg only chose 1 NFL game differently than I did, (He chose Balitimore over AZ) the best he can hope to do is tie.

Jason's picks are a little bit different. He's got Jets over Buffalo, Houston over Tennessee, Giants over NE, and Washington over Tampa Bay. So I guess he still has a shot at it..depending on those 4 games.

Greg has submitted his picks. Way to go slick.. just look at mine and cheat. Next week..you have to submit yours before you see mine.

It's that time again.. Time for another week of NCAA/NFL Football fun. I think we all know who won last weeks' picks. Ahem.. Not to brag or anything. :) Wow.. What a Monday Night game that was. I turned it off after the end of the 3rd Qtr. then came back in the final 1:30 of the 4th. Good thing I decided to check the score!

Tampa Bay at 2-2 (both losses in OT, and the first loss was to the undefeated Panthers, which the Colts play this weekend. It may be a bit early, but I smell Super Bowl!!

Now for this weeks picks. I've opted to go for the Straigt up wins again. Figuring in the spreads is too difficult until I can find some program that does it all for us. Maybe some spreadsheet wizardry would work. I'll do some looking around for an easy app that updates picks with spreads automatically. If only I were a developer!
